History

The Volga Group is an investment and construction corporation with more than ten incorporated enterprises which carry out a full range of construction activities. The Volga Group’s history dates back to the Samarapromstroy closed joint-stock company created in December 1997. As a primary contractor, Samarapromstroy carried out construction of a variety of projects in Samara and Samara Region. These included production facilities (for the Samara subway), in-situ housing, warehouses, commercial premises, administrative buildings (including a school and a nursery in the town of Pokhvistnevo, Pokhvistnevo District, Samara Region, and a school in the village of Vysotino, Khvorostyansk District, Samara Region), and “cottage towns” on the 7^th, 8^th and 9^th Proseka streets.

In subsequent years, the company absorbed several businesses and turned into a universal investment and construction corporation. In 2006 a decision was taken to create the Volga Group Investment and Construction Corporation. On 24^th December the company received the Decision on Registration of the Volga Group ICC Trademark.

An effective management and production system allowed the Volga Group to take a leading position on the regional market. In terms of sales of constructed areas, the Volga Group covers more than 20% of the cottage and apartment block market. In the next two years the Volga Group plans to build more than 500,000 m² of residential premises.

The corporation’s organizational structure enables control of all stages of projects under construction, thus ensuring the impeccable quality of the final product. The Volga Group Development management company deals with strategic and investment issues, finding and developing new projects, spreading corporation to new markets.
